A young Civil Engineer from India named Athul Krishnan has bagged his masters degree in Energy with distinctions at De Montfort University in the United Kingdom.
Athul, an India native obtained his bachelors degree in Civil Engineering at Mangalam Hills University, India before he proceeded to the United Kingdom to further his postgraduate studies.
He bagged his Master of Science degree in Energy and Sustainable Building Design at De Montfort University, United Kingdom with distinctions. Athul took to linkedin to celebrate his achievement of earning the degree stating that the decision was challenging.
Athul said he relocated to the United Kingdom to secure a job adding that though he faced numerous rejections, his determination remained unshaken. He said though he had a successful career as a Civil Engineer in India, his goal was to pursue his interest in the field of sustainability in the built environment.

Athul stated that some of the challenges he went through were struggles in settling down, meeting financial needs, managing day-to-day activities, meeting assignment deadlines, attending classes, and balancing a part-time job with his degree.
Asides from earning a masters degree, Atul said he acquired valuable experience as a Research Associate at De Montfort University and developed expertise in building physics and building performance modelling.
He expressed his gratitude to friends and colleagues for their unwavering support throughout the academic journey.
