A brilliant Nigerian lady named Mmesoma Akuedo has won an award for the best graduating student at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom after she bagged a master’s degree with distinction.
Mmesoma obtained her bachelor’s degree in Applied Biology and Biotechnology at Covenant University, Nigeria before she proceeded to the United Kingdom for her postgraduate studies.
She went on to bag her Master’s in Human Resources and Management at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. She shared her achievement on Twitter stating that she graduated with a distinction.
Mmesoma not only graduated with a remarkable distinction, she was also the best-graduating student of Human Resources and Management. ”MSc. Degree in Human Resource Management: Unlocked. Officially emerged as the BEST GRADUATING STUDENT in HRM and with DISTINCTION,” she said.

Mmesoma shared on her Instagram that she also achieved her CIPD level 7 certification at the same time adding that she now has a new qualification as an “Associate CIPD”.
She mentioned that she put in hard work and a lot of effort into earning the achievement. She mentioned that she stayed up late at night, consumed coffee to stay awake during study sessions, and had a strong sense of determination.
Mmesoma expressed her gratitude to God, her parent, and all her loved ones who contributed to her success. ”
In another story, a brilliant African lady named Folakemi Ogunyemi has bagged a master’s degree in Accounting with distinctions and won the Student of the Year award at the University of Liverpool, England in the United Kingdom.
