A young and brilliant African man named Butera Micheal has celebrated graduating remarkably from the prestigious Harvard Law School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States.
Micheal, a Rwanda graduated from Harvard Law School with a Master of Law degree (LL.M). He took to Linkedin to share his achievement stating that he earned the degree with impressive grades and notable awards beyond academics.
He mentioned that when he was in the university, he spent a significant amount of time in the Harvard Law School Library,where he learned more about artificial intelligence development and Law research.
Micheal also stated that he worked with the Third part partner of Meta (technology company) named Sama where he explore the legal dynamics of platform users and content moderators against Meta.

He said he got a chance as a research assistant at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, where he worked on the Institute for Rebooting Social Media Project.
Micheal said he also served as a graduate assistant in the Multidisciplinary Student Research Collaborative Program (MSRC), collaborating with some Professors in leading the Accelerator Workshop titled “Constructing Countervailing Power: Law and Organizing in an Era of Political Inequality.”
He stated that aside from the research projects, he was also actively involved in organizing Harvard’s Africa Development Conference and #Kwibuka30, an event to commemorate the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda among other events.
Peter said unlike others who are always anxious about their next step after graduation, he received several lucrative offers from various international organizations but he chose his home country.
He mentioned that he was appointed to serve as the Chief Technical Advisor in the Ministry of Justice, The Republic of Rwanda, describing it as a role that comes with the humbling confidence of the President.
Peter said the opportunity is a testament to his belief in the potential of youth and his vision for the future. He obtained his Bachelor of Law at Strathmore University, Nairobi Kenya before proceeding to Law School through a full scholarship.
