Twin sisters, Kirstie and Kristie Bronner have emerged as the best-graduating students of Spelman College, United States after scoring a matching 4.0 cumulative grade point. Their outstanding achievement made them the first-ever twins to be the school’s valedictorian.
The Bronner sisters made history in 2013 as the first set of twins to gain such an award in Spelman College’s long history. According to their website, they embarked on an academic journey that brought them into contact with other opportunities after their graduation.
The Bronner twins, who majored in music, decided to use their skills and talents in their father’s church in Atlanta, where they acquired leadership roles in the youth ministry.
They established Elite 31, a mentoring program for girls based on Proverbs 31, a 9-month intense experience aimed to equip young ladies culturally, spiritually, professionally, and domestically.

During their time mentoring and educating young minds, the Bronner twins took their combined musical abilities to new heights, producing a Christian CD that highlighted their faith and shared ideals.
They also co-wrote the book “Double Vals: The Keys to Success in College and Life Beyond” in 2014 with the intention of sharing with a larger audience the knowledge and strategies that contributed to their academic success.
The Bronner sisters credit their achievements to a strict study schedule, good time management, and their steadfast faith. Kirstie described their attitude to academics as precisely maximizing their study time and exhibiting a strong commitment to their educational objectives.
In 2020, the twins co-wrote “Bridging the Gap: What Teens Wish Their Parents Knew,” which offers advice from their parents on how to raise model teenagers and offers insights from young people Kirstie and Kristie have met and spoken with throughout their youth ministry careers.
