An exceptional 11-year-old kid named Carter Bonas has been awarded a full 4-year scholarship to study at the Florida Memorial University, Florida, United States.
Carter Bonas who is the CEO of a golf company named Golf Spectrum was awarded the scholarship at the South Florida HBCU Golf Classic which was held at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida.
Bonas developed an interest in golf after considering sports that do not involve physical contact. At a very tender age, he was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome (which is now recognized as part of the Autism spectrum). He went from being an Autism patient to becoming the CEO of his golf firm.
Speaking of his achievement as a new scholar, Bonas said he will study business so as to acquire skills that will help his business. “I was awarded a [4-year] scholarship to attend college! See you in 6 years (or less) to get that business degree to take Spectrum Golf to the next level,” Bonas wrote beneath a video of his award.

Ever since he gained interest in golf, he has contributed immensely to the development of the sport. At the age of 10, he launched his apparel line called Spectrum Golf. He chose this name for his business “because he is considered high functioning on the Autism Spectrum Scale,” per the company’s website.
Bonas’ scholarship puts him in good company. Former basketball player, JR Smith, is a North Carolina A&T University student and a current athlete on their golf team.
The university also awarded Smith academic athlete of the year as he finished his first semester with a 4.0-Grade Point Average.
Bonas will now proceed to the Florida Memorial University in the United States to have a great start to a future of endless possibilities.
