A brilliant young man named Jameswilliams Kamnanya Gabriel has emerged as the best graduating student of Nile University with a 4.95 grade point average and was, awarded a 750,000 naira scholarship to study for his master’s at the university.
Gabriel obtained his bachelor’s degree in Economics at Nile University, Abuja Nigeria.He graduated with remarkable first-class honors of 4.95 over a possible cumulative grade point average.
He shared his achievement on his Twitter stating that he graduated as the first runner-up overall best graduating student of Nile University. Gabriel also won the award of the best-graduating student of the university’s Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences and the Department of Economics.
”Yayyy!!! I’ve just graduated as the: Overall Best Graduating Student, 1st Runner-up – 4.95 CGPA. BGS, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences. BGS, Dept. of Econs,” he said.

Gabriel’s excellent performance earned him a fully funded scholarship to study for his postgraduate in any course of his choice at the university. He was also a awarded a cash prize worth of 750,000 naira.
While in the University, he scored 5.00 grade point six different times and was leader of an academic community of over 47,000 Nigerian students who with his story, he inspires and guides them as they thread the path of academic excellence.
He expressed his gratitude in Linkedin post to his lecturers, professors, every single staff ; academic and nonacademic that contributed to his success as a student of the university.
Gabriel also thanked the Nile University of Nigeria for creating the enabling environment for him to study and for giving him a full scholarship to have his undergraduate studies in the institution.
