18-year-old, Â Michael Amankwah-Baidu scored outstanding distinction grades in his A-level exam which earned him an acceptance to study for his bachelor’s degree at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Micheal graduated from high school with good grades, then proceeded to Brampton Manor Academy where he wrote his A-level examinations. He passed the A-level with outstanding distinction and was accepted into the university,
He took to his Linkedin to celebrate his achievement sharing that he achieved grades A*A*A*A in Maths, English Literature, Psychology, and Economics in the examination. Micheal said the academic journey took him two years of growth, hard work, successes, and failures.
”After 2 grueling years of growth, hard work, successes, and failures, I’m pleased to announce that I’ve achieved grades A*A*A*A in Maths, English Literature, Psychology, and Economics,” he said.Â

Micheal’s performance earned him acceptance to the prestigious University of Cambridge. He thanked God for bringing his shield and safety against every obstacle and challenge he faced.
He expressed gratitude to his father for taking the bold leap to immigrate to the United Kingdom and working slavishly to provide him with the opportunities he needed to achieve this.
He said he is grateful for the hundreds to thousands of pounds, his father spent on his travel, food, and day-to-day expenses to support him and for being a continued shining example of the type of man he wants to be.Â
Micheal also thanked his mother for her help noting that she wakes up with her at 4 to 5am every day without fail to help him me get ready for school, making him a packed breakfast everyday and for being his continued light in an often dark, often stressful journey.
He said he is grateful for organisations like the Brampton Manor University Access Team, Target Oxbridge and Hogan lovells for their invaluable support with his personal statement and interview preparations.
Miccheal also appreciated that Brampton Manor community for being his crazy, strange and loving family for the past 2 years. He expressed his gratitude to his friends for their supported and his friend, Christian for encouraging him to apply to Brampton Manor.
