Brilliant Nigerian Lady bags 4.62 first-class in Agriculture, graduates top of her class

A brilliant Nigerian lady named Catherine Igwe graduated at the top of her class after bagging her bachelor’s degree with a 4.62 first-class grade at the Federal University of Agriculture, Minna Nigeria.

Catherine obtained her bachelor’s degree in Agriculture at Federal University of Agriculture, Minna Nigeria. She graduated from the university with 4.62 over a possible 5.00 cumulative grade point.

Celebrating her achievement on Linkedin, Catherine said there has always been a belief among student that going to school is not abut earning a first-class grade which she has heard countless of times but she d not allow it to discourage her.

She stated that upon resumption into the university, her academic goal was achieving a first-class grade but she was disappointed when she could not earn the grade in her first year in the university.

However, Catherine said she did not give up but instead studied harder through her first year up to her third year scoring a first-class grade between 4.75 and 4.9. She said even though at some point she had a carry-over, she maintained her excellent result.

Catherine mentioned that in her fourth year at the university, there was an academic union strike which enabled her to focus on other things including launching her own fashion accessories business.

She said resuming for her final year after the long break seemed challenging as she was confused about how to get back to academic mode but she was determined to bounce back better.

Catherine stated that though her grade points in the first semester of her final year reduced greatly, she remained determined, putting in more hard work and making faith her guide.

She graduated with a 4.62 grade point and scored the highest grade point in her class. Catherine said though the grade was not what she expected, her academic journey was worth it.

She advised students grappling with undergraduate challenges, that achieving their desired grades is possible adding that they should not be swayed by stereotypes but pursue their excellence.

Catherine also encouraged undergraduate students who are tired of their undergraduate program, stating that it is still possible to graduate with the grades they want. She expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the academic journey.
