A determined young man named Demetrius Banks has finally graduated from Morehouse College, United States 30 years after he was enrolled in the university.
Demetrius Banks, from Atlanta initially enrolled at Morehouse College in 1991 as a traditional student and was there for two years and a semester before he transferred out. He however was determined to achieve his dream of graduating dfrom the university.
In 2022, Banks made the decision to complete his business administration degree requirements through the Morehouse College Online Program. According to a video interview uploaded on Morehouse College’s Instagram, Banks excelled in each of his classes, made the honor roll, and graduated Magna Cum Laude (honors).
While in the university, Demetrius was very active in other extracurricular activities. He contributed to the Morehouse College Glee Club and participated in the King Players.

He mentioned that he will be stepping into the next chapter of his academic journey. He plansto enroll in Syracuse University’s online dual MBA/JD program, to further his pursuit of excellence and knowledge.
In a similar story, a young man named Terrel Ian Parker has finally graduated from Texas Southern University, United States after 17 years he was enrolled in the university.
Ian Parker is a United States Army from Houston, Texas who first enrolled in college in 2004, but could not graduate with his colleagues because of his job and some other factors.
Ian shared his achievement of graduating from Texas Southern University, stating that he took his first undergraduate course at the university in 2004 and graduated from the school 17 years later. Read more about Terrel HERE.
