A brilliant man named Oluwananumi Dawodu who wrote JAMB three times has finally bagged a Medicine degree with two distinctions at Lagos State University, Nigeria.
Oluwananumi Dawodu bagged his bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MB, BS) at Lagos State University. Narrating his story on Linkedin, he stated that he spent a total of eight years before he successfully bagged the degree.
”I just recently completed 8 years of my undergraduate Medical degree from Lagos State University towards the conferment of a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MB; BS),” he wrote.
Dawodu mentioned that he failed the University’s entrance exam twice and passed on the third attempt. He also said that he failed every MBBS Exam except the first one despite all these challenges, he persevered and graduated from the university.

Dawodu bagged many achievements as an undergraduate. He was a recipient of the Diana Award in his fourth year at the university and received four different scholarships as an active student.
He mentioned that he transitioned into technology (DevOps and Cybersecurity) in his fourth year, and worked with a couple of organizations and startups. Despite being an active student, he finished with an MBBS and 2 Distinctions in Human Anatomy and Medical Biochemistry.
Dawodu expresses his gratitude to God and the LinkedIn community stating that they continue to inspire him to combine his achievement as a medical and technology personnel.
