A brilliant Nigerian man named Bashirudeen Opeyemi has bagged his bachelor’s degree at the University of Ibadan (UI) Nigeria, and at the same time earned a certificate in Data Science.
Opeyemi bagged his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) at the University of Ibadan and at the same time earned a certificate as a Data Scientist while studying at the university.
He took to his LinkedIn page to celebrate his success saying he is ready to embrace the Journey of being a Data Scientist and Pharmacist. He stated that he is excited to juggle two of his passions together.
Opeyemi said balancing the pursuit of excellence in both fields has been a challenge but he accepted the challenge wholeheartedly. He mentioned that some of the hurdles he faced were Hackathons, freelancing, and burning the midnight oil for pharmacy exams.

He mentioned that he was accepted to intern at Data Science Nigeria (DSNai) on his induction day. Opeyemi said he is excited to be finally accepted after facing two assessments and interviews.
He expressed his gratitude to all, both direct and indirect, who have shaped his journey over the years. Opeyemi stated that their guidance and support have been instrumental in pushing him forward.
He stated that he is embracing his status as a Data Scientist, Innovator, Problem Solver, and Pharmacist and he is delighted about the limitless possibilities that lie ahead.
Opeyemi said that as data science and pharmacy offer exceptional opportunities to create meaningful impact and drive transformative change, he is eager to seize each opportunity, embrace challenges, and contribute his best to both fields.
