A brilliant Nigerian Lady named  Oghenerukevwe Odjugo emerged as the best-graduating student of Covenant University after scoring a 4.93 cumulative grade point average. Her achievement earned her a full scholarship to study for her masters in the United Kingdom.
Odjugo obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with an outstanding first-class at Covenant University, Nigeria. She won the award of the best-graduating student in the university’s Department of Accounting and College of Business and Social Sciences.
She took to LinkedIn to celebrate her achievement of earning the degree stating that despite facing challenges along the way, she is glad it was worth it.
”On this day, 19th July 2019, I graduated from Covenant University as the Best Graduating student from the College of Business and Social Sciences (CBSS) and the Department of Accounting with a 4.93 CGPA,” she said.

Odjugo stated that she was not available to receive her awards at the university because she was currently interning at the African Export-Import Bank (AFREXIM bank)Â in Cairo, Egypt.
Aside from receiving awards as the best-graduating student of her college and department, she also received an award from the United Bank of Africa, Covenant Microfinance Bank, Centre for Entrepreneurial Development Studies, and the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
She said she is grateful to the sponsor of those awards, for the huge privilege and recognition.

Odjugo said she was awarded a full tuition scholarship from the Development Trust Africa Fund to study for her master’s degree in Finance and Investment at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.
Advising other scholars, Odjugo encourages them to pursue their dreams boldly without fear of failure because the satisfaction of achieving them on some days will overshadow the fear of failing on other days.
