Anaiya Whaley graduated from Claflin University, United States with two honors degrees She was also awarded a full scholarship to the prestigious Columbia University.
Anaiya obtained two bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communications & Psychology at Claflin University, South Carolina in the United States. She earned both degrees with a Summa Cum Laude (honors) grade.
She took to LinkedIn to celebrate her achievement of graduating from the university with honors. Anaiya shared that she did not only graduate with honors but was also one of the six best-graduating students of her set.
”Recently, I graduated from Claflin University with two academic degrees (Mass Communications & Psychology) and honors (Summa Cum Laude). I presented the challenge to my graduating class of 2024 as one of the six valedictorians,” she said.

Anaiya mentioned that the academic journey was filled with challenges and triumphs, but it prepared her for the next chapter in life.
She expressed her gratitude to her Historical Black Colleges and University, Claflin University, and everyone who has supported, encouraged, and guided her every step of the way.
Anaiya mentioned that she was awarded a fully funded fellowship to pursue a master’s degree by her HBCU community. She said she will be studying Master of Science in Strategic Communication at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies.
The HBCU Fellowship Program is a fully-funded master’s program for HBCU students across the United States While a student, Anaiya led multiple student organizations, community service events, and business projects.
While being involved in all of these activities, Anaiya maintained a 4,00 grade point average. She stated that her goal upon graduation is to work full-time in public relations in the beauty or entertainment space and later start her PR agency.
