The son of a Nigerian music star, Pasuma named Jibola Odetola has graduated from Harlan community High School in the United States of America as the best graduating student with a 4.20 GPA.
He also won an outstanding $400k in scholarship award to study in any 20 universities across the United States.
In a celebratory message posted on Instagram, Jibola appreciates God, his family and everyone who contributed to his success. He mentioned that he received $400k in scholarship money, 5 full-ride scholarships and admission into over 20 universities.
“Finally!!!! moving on to the next step of success. I’m thankful to God, my mom, my dad, my sister and everyone for helping me along the way. I’ve received over $400k in scholarship money and over 5 full rides and got into over 20 schools,” he wrote.

He shared that he ranked #1 and won as the best graduating student with 4.20 GPA In the school and that he is committed to University of Illinois Chicago. He also mentioned that the he has great expectations for his next phase of study.
“Committed to UIC HONORS COLLEGE Alhamdulilah , unto the next step, forever going up,” he added.
Jibola in his Valedictory speech stated that he would be studying Human biology at the University of Illinois, Chicago in line with his dream of becoming a pediatrician.
Reacting to his son’s success, Pasuma shared on his Instagram a video of the valedictory speech captioning it with how proud he is and celebrated the win.
”Congratulations to my son Jibola Wasiu junior, daddy’s boy. I’m so proud of you. Best graduating student with 4.20 GPA from Harlan community academy, in the United States. Well done my boy,” he wrote.
Jibola’s father, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma is a renowned Nigeria Fuji pop artiste with over 30 albums attached to his name.
