A brilliant Nigerian woman named Bukky Shonibare has bagged a Master’s in Law from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
Bukky Shonibare, is the Executive Director of Invictus Africa, a civic organization that promotes human rights and gender equality through data-driven advocacy, technological solutions, and capacity development.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) at Baze University, Abuja Nigeria with first-class honors before she proceeded to the United Kingdom for her postgraduate studies. She shared her achievement of earning her master’s degree on Linkedin.
She shared that she bagged a master’s degree in International Human Rights Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Oxford, England in the United Kingdom. Bukky described her achievement as an answered prayer as she has always wished to study at Oxford University.

She mentioned that she is excited to count her blessings as not just a graduate of the University stating that she got two full scholarships and was able to graduate from the University of Oxford against all odds.
“As I excitedly look forward to the day, I count my blessings. One, having an Oxford education is an answer to heartfelt prayers. Two, I got a full scholarship. Three, I finished… against all odds! My blessings are countless,” she said.
Bukky also holds a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Swiss Management Center University, Switzerland. She also earned an Executive Master’s degree in Managing Peace and Security in Africa (MPSA) from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.

Bukky obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Law and Development from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom before bagging the Human Rights masters at Oxford.
