A 17-year-old girl named Grace Leed has graduated with a degree from Luzerne County Community College, Pennsylvania in the United States despite still being a high school student.
Grace is a teen from Nanticoke and a senior at Greater Nanticoke Area High School who was able to juggle both her high school and college classes simultaneously. She bagged an associate’s degree from Luzerne County Community College, United States.
“I’m very proud of myself for not giving up even though it was hard balancing sports, high school academics, and LCCC academics. It’s very cool and a great accomplishment. I’m very excited. It was a lot of time management. Basically, that was the key to it all,” she said.
She juggled the high school and college classes together with a part-time job. Grace was also active in other extracurricular activities which included being the the treasurer of her school’s chapter of the National Honor Society.

Grace also played field hockey, basketball, track and field, and cross country. She attributed her success to her parents for being supportive and always inspiring her to achieve her goals.
Grace stated that she is hoping to get her doctorate degree in physical therapy and treat athletes one day. She added that she would accomplish that feat in five years or less as she had earned her associate’s degree.
