A Sixty year old South African man, Fanie De Waal has achieved an exceptional feat after bagging a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Africa in 2021.

Fanie De Waal has previous academic qualifications in Mechanical Engineering some of which include the National High Diploma, the Government Certificate of Competency as a Mechanical Engineer among others. He however was unable to bag the Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) until he is 60 years old.
He celebrated his success on Linkedin, displaying great happiness to be finally awarded the Degree a time when he is semi-retired.
He was awarded the Bachelor’s of Commerce (Honors) in Business Management.

He has worked as Managers in several industries, and is now the General Manager of FDW Solutions. Scholars and well wishers from around the world have congratulated him for reaching such an Academic height at the age of 60.
