A brilliant Nigerian lady named  Ifiokobong Obot who lost her admission at a Nigerian university four years ago has strives hard to obtain a first-class Nursing degree at the University of Derby,United Kingdom.
Obot had initially enrolled at the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2019 for a degree in Nursing and started the degree in 2020 but she could not proceed.
However, she lost admission due to over-admission issues at her university causing her department to change as narrated in her TikTok post. Determined not to give up on her dream, Obit moved to the United Kingdom through the Migration Pathway.
She said she passed all her examinations and was able to secure a job in the United Kingdom. She applied for a Nursing degree at the University of Derby in England and she was accepted.

Obot graduated from the University of Derby in England with a first class degree in Nursing in May 2024. She mentioned that she faced some challenges in the course of earning the degree but she pushed through.
She said that losing her first admission felt disappointing, but it proved that every setback is truly a blessing in disguise.

In another story, a young Nigerian Lady named Solace Ojotule has earned a Master’s degree in Africa and International Development from the University of Edinburgh, UK.
Solace Ojutale who narrated that herself and her mother had to overcome tough times after being abandoned by her father’s family due to the death of her father.
She narrated on LinkedIn that her father died when she was at the age of 4 years and immediately after his death, the paternal family seized all her father’s properties because her mother bared no male child.
