A brilliant Nigerian lady named Dami Adegun has abandoned her ongoing studies at the Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH), Nigeria in his second year after she got an opportunity to study in the United States.
Dami, who had already spent two years earning a bachelor’s degree, got an opportunity to study in the United States. With the opportunity, she bagged a bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Texas, Dallas in the United States.
Sharing her achievement, Dami said she graduated high school at age 14 and had the biggest plans on what she wanted her life to look like but her path turned differently.Â
She reflected on the decision to leave her education behind and start anew as a challenging yet fulfilling journey, and she is proud to have successfully completed it.

”After spending two years at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria and then moving out of the country to start all over at The University of Texas at Dallas, it really has been a long journey,” she said.
She said that she is delighted to have reached this point and thankful for every step that has brought her that far. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology.
She said she chose to pursue a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology because she is intrigued by how life is formed both in the body and in the mind,Â

Dami recalled she had always been interested in health care growing up and was fascinated since her first Biology class in High School. She said she has a passion for psychology after taking a Child Development Psychology class in her second of College.
She stated she is looking forward to being able to combine both fields, providing care for people, both physically and mentally. Dami said she is excited about embarking on this next phase of her life.
