Chef Kay mentioned that the achievement made her and her siblings emotional as their father who was their mother’s cheerleader died a few months before she completed her final exam at the university.
She said even though her father is not alive to witness her accomplishment, she knows he is fulfilled seeing that she finally earned the bachelors degree at her age. ”It’s also sad that my dad who was her cheerleader left us earlier this year but I know he is fulfilled seeing this accomplishment even at this age of hers,” she said.
Extending her congratulations to her mother, Chef Kay said she is proud of her for fighting all odds to finally achieve her dream. She said she is thankful to her mother for sacrificing those years she would have gone to school for them to attend better schools.
