A brilliant Nigerian lady named Omolola Okunola has emerged as the overall best-graduating student of Babcock University, Nigeria after she bagged a bachelor’s degree with a 4.91 over 5.00 cumulative grade point.
Omolola obtained a first-class honors degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Public Relations and Advertising from Babcock University, Ogun Nigeria with a remarkable 4.91 out of 5.00 cumulative grade point.
She shared her achievement on LinkedIn, stating that when she enrolled in university, she never imagined herself graduating with a first-class grade, let alone winning the award for the overall best student.
”On June 27th, I graduated as the overall best student of Babcock University with a CGPA of 4.91. Course: Mass Communication (Public Relations and Advertising,” she shard.

Omolola said she thought that she would at most graduate with a second class recalling calculating her grade point average during her first semester at Babcock University and had a laid-back attitude, thinking that whatever would happen, would happen.
She stated that the results came out and her first grade was a first-class 4.909 grade points exactly. IOmolala said even though she was delighted, she was at the same time anxious.
”What if I can’t maintain this? This is too high. Everyone is looking at me now’. I would smile to everyone saying congrats but deep down I was afraid,” she said.
Omolola mentioned that even though she did not expect to graduate as the university’s overall best she put in work and it paid off. She expressed her gratitude to all the people she met along the way.
She stated that she is deeply honored to receive this award adding that she looks forward to greater things ahead. Omolola received a total of eight notable awards for her remarkable performance.
