A brilliant Nigerian man named David Orok has achieved outstanding success in the United States after he bagged 2 full scholarships. He also earned two master’s degrees with distinction grades.
David, a Software developer progressed from earning a second-class upper bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Uyo in Nigeria to obtaining two consecutive master’s degrees abroad.
He took to his LinkedIn to share his achievement of earning the degrees amidst different challenges, determination, and hard work.
Narrating his story, David said he launched his third startup, ELSPACE in 2018 which he built for 3 years. In the third year, he decided to return to the University to study how to build a technology company.

David said he was awarded a fully funded scholarship for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Quantic School of Business and Technology, in the United States which he started in March 2022.
He said he had a strong drive and determination and was intensely motivated to achieve success. Two months after he started the MBA program, he got anither fully funded scholarship for a master’s program in Technological Entrepreneurship at Innopolis University, Russia.
”I was so hungry for success and my mantra “sharks are born swimming” hunted me intensely to do more and stay in the grind,” he said. After he earned his MBA, David started the second master’s program immediately.
David said for the two years academic journey, he experienced so much growth in business and life. He stated that at Innopolis University, he was taught how to build apps using Nocode Development and Flutter Development.]
He said he got attached to Nocode Development because of how useful it is in helping startup founders and business owners turn their ideas into mobile or web apps without writing codes in a matter of weeks instead of months.
David mentioned that the academic journey was not smooth as he faced some challenges including losing 1 million rubles, a 10,000-dollar grant by FASIE. He said all his colleagues who applied for the grant got it and even though he was not awarded, he felt fortunate.
Not giving up, David said he went ahead to start Nocode Africa and NALA, a web platform that allows one to learn how to build mobile and web apps without coding from video courses created by Nocode Developers.
He stated that NALA has done thrice the grant money in 10 months of launching. David said he is glad he was not awarded the grant as losing the funds gave him more reasons to succeed.
Highlighting his other accomplishments, David said he has trained over 5k+ people across different countries of the world on how to build mobile and web apps without coding.
David said his trainees are students, startup founders, entrepreneurs, and business owners who now have functional products built without coding in weeks. He added that he also has paid courses on Udemy and Selar.
