A brilliant Nigerian man named Tijjani Hassan El-badawy has bagged a doctorate degree in Petroleum Engineering at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and was awarded the best postgraduate student of the university.
Tijjani was awarded the best postgraduate student of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (University of Technology Malaysia) after he bagged his PhD in Petroleum Engineering. His thesis focused on oilfield-produced water desalination, using novel MD membranes according to his LinkedIn.Â
He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Geology at the University of Maiduguri in Nigeria after which he proceeded to earn a Master of Science in Petroleum and Gas Engineering at the University of Salford in the United Kingdom.
Aside from being a PhD student at the University of Malaysia, Tijani was also a research assistant and a doctoral student at the Advanced Membrane Technology Research Center in Malaysia.

He mentioned that his journey was adventurous with numerous experiences. Tijani stated that he met amazing people who shaped the way he thinks and interacted adding that he learned a lot in his pursuit of knowledge.
TIjjani expressed his gratitude to his sponsors, advisory team, collaborators, researchers, and all of his colleagues at the University of Malaysia and Advanced Membrane Technology Research Center.
In another story, a determined young Nigerian man named Pedepo Emmanuel who was rejected many times in an attempt to study in the United States has fought back successfully to earn the United States presidential scholarship to study for his PhD.
