A young Nigerian man named Ubi Franklin has bagged a bachelors of Law degree at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom.
Ubi Franklin, a Nigerian politician and media personality earned a Bachelor of Law in Business at the University of Essex, England in the United Kingdom, his second bachelor’s degree in Law.
Sharing his achievement on Instagram, Ubi said he enrolled for the course at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, a decision born out of the desire to achieve new goals and not be restless.
He said he started with Legal Law, Public Law, Criminal Law, Business Environment and Business and Management skills ti Law of Tort, Land Law, Contract Law, leadership and Management Team to Equity and Europen Law until he finalized with Business Strategy Law.

Ubi said he started the course same period he was doing his talk show, ”Talks with Ubi Franklin”. He stated that juggling the show with his studies was very hectic so he decided him stop the talk show so he could focus on his studies.
He also mentioned that while studying for the degree, he contested for a political post which he lost. Ubi said losing the political post motivated him to focus more on his studies and business.
He said balancing his academics and business was very tedious and difficult but he pushed through day and night to achieve his goal. Ubi expressed his gratitude to his pastor for the encouragement and prayers.
Ubi also thanked a Senior Advocate of Nigeria for his help, his colleagues whom they studied for his first law degree who brainstormed and worked on different assignments together with him.
He earned his first degree in Law at the University of Madonna, Nigeria. Ubi said he only told a few people of his decision to earn a second degree because if he could not persevere, he would not owe any one an explanation.
Ubi said he is thankful to his mother for all her efforts and encouragement. He stated that his mother wanted him to earn the degree because his late father was a judge and ut would be good to retain his legacy.
He stated that the achievement meant a lot to him as he remained determined and worked very hard for it. Ubi said he is glad that all his efforts paid off, from his trip back and forth, sleepless nights, and paying school fees and ridiculous rates and it was all worth it.
Ubi said he is grateful to all his lectures for all the times they were able to engage. He said now that he has completed his studies, he desires to do more and achieve new goals.Â
