A brilliant Nigerian man named Emmanuel Ahmadu has defied the odds to earn two doctorate degrees in the United States after failing the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination popularly known as WAEC 17 times.
Emmanuel obtained an honorary doctorate degree in International Affairs (DIA) from Global Seminary University, United States in collaboration with GEPEA University, Portugal and a Professional Doctorate Fellowship Honor on global impacts across languages and cultures.
He earned the degrees after he had faced different challenges back in Nigeria. Emmanuel attended 16 primary schools and 14 secondary schools due to family instability and even wrote WAEC 17 times for over five years before he later got university admission.
Emmanuel said the honorary degree is bagged based on the impacts of his work and global achievements surrounding the promotion of peace, and through media influence in mental health awareness and sensitization advocacy across Nigeria, Africa, Asia, Europe and America.
