A 20-year-old lady named Morenikeji Adebanjo graduated with a Law degree at Baze University, Abuja with a 92% grade. She also won the university’s overall best student award for her set.
Morenikeji was awarded the overall best-graduating student with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.81 over 4.00. She scored the highest grade point out of the other 388 graduating students.
She attributed her success to the collective efforts of her lecturers, families, and the institution saying their support inspired her to achieve success.
“A lot actually inspired me. First is God, second my family, and this achievement is not an individual achievement but a collective achievement through Baze University,” Morenikeji said.

“My lecturers also were of great help to me. Sometimes I go to meet them for extra explanation and they take the time to really make me understand, I appreciate their efforts. It was a collective effort,” she added.
Morenikeji said her goal is to be a contributing member of society stating that she plans to help undergraduates achieve success and use law as an instrument of change.
“I will try to be a helpful member of society in any way I can. I intend to help first the undergraduates, give them some advice on how to succeed, and use law as an instrument of change,” she said
In another story, a 22-year-old lady named Brittany Reave has set a record as the first student to earn a master’s degree and graduate as a Lawyer at North Carolina Central University in the United University.
