A brilliant Nigerian Man named Ismail Aliyu has broken a 46-years-old record of Uthman Danfodiyo University in Nigeria. He is the first to ever graduate with a first-class honors from the Political Science department in the university.
Ismail Aliyu graduated with a 4.63 cumulative grade point first class honors from the department of Political Science which has never occurred since the inception of Uthman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto in Nigeria.
Ismail said he took up the challenge to graduate with a first class honors when he heard that no one has been able to bag the grade ever in the university. He said it all started in his first year when he had a 4.63 grade point average.
“I started developing the interest of graduating with first class honor when I saw my 100-level results,” he said.

He mentioned that though he tried to maintain the grade point, he suffered a slight drop in his second year when he had a 4.58.
Although the score almost brought down his morale, he made sure to work harder by reading rigorously to boost his grade point and avoided distractions. At the end he finished with a 4.53 cumulative grade point breaking his department’s record.
“Despite the difficulties, challenges, and decrease in my CGPA from 100-level, I have never felt discouraged, ionly had a missing grade in GST 106 and it was later rectified a week later and glory be to almighty Allah that I break a 46-year record,” he said.
