Brilliant 17-year-old girl graduates US high school with good grades, wins $16million scholarship to 39 universities

A brilliant 17-year-old girl named Jordan Nixon has earned over 16 million dollars worth of scholarship offers to 39 different universities after graduating from Douglas County High School in the United States with an outstanding grade.

Jordan Nixon graduated from Douglas County High School, United States. Her excellent performance earned her $1.6 million dollars worth of scholarships to 39 universities and colleges across the United States.

Jordan said she was very serious with her applications as she really researched thoroughly what would best fit her. She mentioned that some schools are still sending her acceptance letters. “The crazy thing is, I’m still waiting on decision letters, but I was not expecting that at all,” she said.

She said her acceptances are the highest number any student at Douglas County High School has ever received stating that she applied to about 50 schools.

Jordan’s parents, Angelia and Arthur Nixon described her as independent, responsible, and versatile. They said they are happy about her acceptance as it is a result of the efforts she put into the application.

“We’re so happy for her because she does put in a lot of due diligence into applying for these schools,” they said.

While a student, Jordan participated in various extracurricular activities including Chick-fil-A Leader Academy and Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA). She is also one of the captains of the varsity cheer team at Douglas County High School.
