Odunayo Odunsi Sholanke was awarded the best graduating student of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in 2020 after attaining a CGPA of 4.85 out of the possible 5.00 points.
She graduated from the Department of Aquaculture & Fisheries Management under the Faculty (College) of Environmental Resources Management.
Odunayo who took to her Linkedin handle announced that she has commenced a two-year International Master of Science in Health Management under the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree with a fully funded scholarship.
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarship are high-level integrated study programmes awarded by the European Union. The Scholarship programmes are designed and delivered by an international partnership of higher education institutions from different countries worldwide.
Applications for the 2022 session of the Scholarship is ongoing (Details HERE). The Scholarship Award allows beneficiaries to study in about 4 different countries across Europe. According to the course listed for award this year, beneficiaries can study in Belgium, France, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Italy and many more countries.

Awards are available in various fields of study including Chemistry (CHE), Economic Sciences (ECO), Environmental and Geosciences (ENV), Information Science and Engineering (ENG), Life Sciences (LIF), Mathematics (MAT), Physics (PHY) and, Social Sciences and Humanities (SOC).
Odunayo Odunsi Sholanke explained that she will be studying a Masters Degree in Health Management at two Europe’s leading institute in aquaculture – Ghent University, Belgium and Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway.
“Against this background, I will be studying at two Europe’s leading institute in aquaculture (Ghent University and Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim) which offers me in-depth theoretical and hands-on training in the latest techniques in aquaculture health and disease management,” she posted on Linkedin.
Odunayo expressed excitement about the prospects that the program offers and look forward to a life-changing opportunity for cultural integration and exploration of cultural diversity across European countries.
