A brilliant Nigerian man named Oluwadamilola Falodun has bagged an Accounting degree with first-class honors at the Obafemi Awolowo University Nigeria.
Oluwadamilola bagged his bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the Obafemi Awolowo University with remarkable first-class honors. He shared his achievement of bagging the degree on his Linkein stating that he successfully graduated.
”I’m thrilled to share a significant milestone in my academic journey, on Thursday 7th of December I officially graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University with First-Class Honors in Accounting,” she said.
Oluwadamilola said reflecting on the academic journey, he is reminded of the joy he had when he gained admission describing it as a chapter marked by youthful excitement and the anticipation of graduating at the age of 19.

However, different circumstances such as the Covid 19 pandemic and academic strike did not let him graduate at that age. Oluwadamilola in the face of these disruptions, amidst the sadness and uncertainty, found solace and opportunity in the abundance of free time.
He said the period was one for personal growth and a deep dive into the world of self-development. Oluwadamilola mentioned that he started his grade with 4.20 grade points and never envisioned himself as a first-class student.
However, the turning point came in his second semester when he achieved a first-class grade point. It was then that I decided to break free from the shackles of self-doubt and commit to the journey with hard work and perseverance.
Oluwadamilola said his subsequent semesters witnessed a transformation as he not only maintained a first-class grade point but graduated with it. He mentioned that one defining moment was securing the highest score in one of his courses with an impressive 96/100).
He said graduating at the age of 21 is a testament to the power of resilience, determination, and self-belief. He expressed his gratitude to his family, friends, and lecturers who supported and believed in him.
Oluwadamilola said he is carrying forward with the lessons he learned noting that setbacks can be stepping stones, doubts can be conquered, and every challenge is an opportunity for growth.Â
