A brilliant Nigerian man named Abdulkareem T. Yusuf graduated with a master’s degree on the same day with his wife at Lagos State University, Nigeria.
Abdulareem obtained his master’s degree in Chemical and Polymer Engineering with a perfect 5.00/5.00 cumulative grade point average while his wife bagged her master’s in Law at Lagos State University.
The couple received their certificate on the same day and Abdulkareem took to his Facebool to celebrate their achievement. ”The result of the Work with play; MSc. Chemical and Polymer Engineering with perfect CGPA of 5.00/5.00 at the 27th LASU Convocation,” he said.
”It was a combined celebration as my wife Okeowo Maryam Abisola also badged her Master of Laws (LL.M) and we graduated the same day from the same school,” he added.Â

Abdulkareem, an academic scholar started his undergraduate studies at the Lagos State Polytechnic where he earned an Ordinary National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
He proceeded to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Polymer Engineering at the University of Lagos before earning his master’s degree.
Congratulating them on the feat via Twitter, the Lagos State University described the couple as Mrs and Mrs LASU Convocation. ” Congratulations, Abdulkareem. We celebrate you! Couples goal. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. LASU Convocation,” they said.
Abdulkareem expressed his gratitude to God, his family and friends, and everyone who joined them to celebrate academic excellence.

In a similar story, a 62-year-old retired US Army veteran alongside his son and his wife graduated from the same university on the same day.
The 62-year-old father by the name of Raymond Richardson, his 32-year-old son, Shamir Taylor, and the wife of his son, Nyema Taylor all bagged their degrees from the University of Maryland, Maryland, United States of America.
