A young African lady named Linda Mbaisi has won the prestigious Commonwealth scholarship to study for her master’s at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
Linda Mbaisi is a Kenyan native who was awarded the Commonwealth Scholarship to further her education in the United Kingdom. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communications and Public Relations.Â
Linda graduated from Daystar University, Kenya with a 3.51 over 4.00 grade point average. She shared her achievement of winning the scholarship on her LinkedIn stating that she will be pursuing her post-graduate studies in Communications.
She mentioned that she will be studying for a master’s degree in Communications at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.

”I am thrilled to share that I have been selected as a 2023/2024 Commonwealth Scholar to pursue my Postgraduate Studies; MA in International Communication at the University of Leeds, UK 🇬🇧 #ChosenForCommonwealth,” she wrote on her LinkedIn.
Linda expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom Government through the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, The Association of Commonwealth Universities, the University of Leeds, and the British Council Kenya for giving her the opportunity.
After her bachelor’s degree, she proceeded to Cornell University as a Mandela Fellowship to study a Leadership course in Public Management.
