The program is to recruit and support PhD students. Applicants forGraduateResearch Scholarships must meet the following criteria: General requirements:
enrol full-time in a minimum of 9 graduate credits per semester.
not be financially sponsored by any other organization or hold any active employment.
have a GPA of 3.5 or higher in the Master’s degree.
must have and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher at the PhD level.
The following additional factors apply to the selection criteria: The ranking and research classification of the institution from which the applicant received his/her Master’s degree. Applicant’s prior research experience and its relevance to UAEU research and publication record.
English Language Requirements: A score of 6.5 or higher on the IELTS Academic exam or equivalent, for all disciplines in which the main language of instruction is English or the dissertation, must be in English. This test score must be less than two years old at the time of application. A minimum IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent is for admission into an offering of the PhD Program whose language of instruction is Arabic.
